For a few hours on Sunday, Donald Glover gave the internet something to talk about besides the coronavirus when he surprise-dropped a new collection of music.
On a website titled Donald Glover Presents, a looped stream offered 12 tracks that included collaborations with SZA, Ariana Grande and 21 Savage, plus the previously released songs "Feels Like Summer," “Algorythm” and “Warlord."
It was unclear if the music was intended to be Glover's next studio album, although it did seem that fans could submit suggestions for an album title and cover art through the website.
It also seemed that Glover did not intend for this to be considered music from his alter ego, Childish Gambino.
In the worst case of quarantining yet, the music was taken down just hours later from both the website and Glover's YouTube channel.
