Lunch is on Lizzo! Multiple outlets report that the A-list artist sent a midday meal to hospitals across the country on Monday to thank healthcare workers for their efforts fighting the coronavirus.
"Thank you, Lizzo, for sending lunches to the UW Medical Center," Seattle's University of Washington Medical Center tweeted. "Your support of our frontline healthcare workers means a lot."
Page Six also reports that she sent a spread to a University of Minnesota affiliate in Minneapolis, where she started her career, while NOLA.com says staffers at Louisiana's West Jefferson Medical Center also got lunch.
Meanwhile, Lizzo also said in a video she sent hospital staff, "I just wanna let y'all know how much we appreciate y'all for putting yourselves on the front lines to protect us during this pandemic. This time is so scary for a lot of people and y'all are peace of mind and a hero for a lot of us...The least I can do is send y'all some food."
