Michael Bublé’s wife Luisana Lopilato has taken to Instagram to defend her husband and assure fans that she's not in an abusive relationship,P age Six reports.
The uproar began after an Instagram Live appearance by the couple in which Bublé appeared to shove and grab her after she interrupted his introduction. “Hi, guys,” Bublé says in the clip before Lopilato chimes in, “Hi.” He then nudges her and grabs her arm, to which she responds, “Oh, I’m sorry. Sorry.”
In her new post, Lopilato says in Spanish, “Thank you for worrying about me,” she noted. “It’s very important that we pay attention to the concerns that were mentioned. Fortunately, I am not suffering.”
Some fans, however, are not so sure, with a Twitter user writing, "to all of us it's clearly a man being abusive with his wife, the way he grabbed her by the arm…that’s Michael Bublé…she keeps on denying it but there’s so many videos of him and treating her the same way.”
Another user shared a different Instagram post in which Bublé said, “I’m going to kill you,” although the context of his comments is unclear. Bublé and Lopilato have three children together.
