The new short-form streaming service Quibi dropped a trailer for a new show called Dummy, which features actress Anna Kendrick as an aspiring writer who befriends her boyfriend's sex doll, UPI reports.
In the clip, Kendrick's character begins to hear it speak, and her therapist tells her the doll is trying to help her heal. The sex doll also turns out to be a "feminist," and tells Kendrick, "We're all sex dolls until we topple the patriarchy."
The two then embark on a road trip and other adventures. "A fun-loving sex doll and her human friend taking on the world together? That would make an amazing story," the doll says in the clip.
Dummy premieres Monday, April 20, on Quibi.
