Dave Grohl has joined together with musicians including Chris Martin and Dua Lipa on a cover of his band Foo Fighter's song "Times Like These" for charity, UPI reports.
Proceeds from the song will go to the BBC's Children in Need, Comic Relief and the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization (WHO). Other artists on the song include Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, 5 Seconds of Summer, Hailee Steinfeld, Sean Paul, Zara Larsson, Bastille and the Foo's Taylor Hawkins.
Lipa and Ora both said the lyrics to the song resonated with them as they quarantine because of the pandemic. "Learning to live, give and love again are all things I've been thinking about a lot during this time," Lipa said in a statement. "Appreciating the little things in life has been key for me and I hope this cover is a little bit of joy and hope for those who listen."
"Times Like These" originally appeared on the Foo Fighters' albumOne by One, released in 2002.
