A former bodyguard of comedian Ellen DeGeneres says she is "sly" and "kind of demeaning," according to FOX News. Tom Majercak, who guarded the star, her mom and her wife Portia de Rossi for the 2014 Oscars, said that in all the 10 years he served in his field, DeGeneres was the only celeb who never said hello to him.
Majercak says De Rossi was "very pleasant and carried on a conversation" but that "Ellen pretty much just gave me a side glance out of her eye and didn't even say 'hello,' or 'thank you'."
He also said, "It was very cold and it was very sly and it was actually kind of demeaning in the way that she treats people other than those who are in her circle."
Majercak says he thought for a while that the star was just under a lot of pressure from the Oscars hosting gig, but that it was "no excuse." "I can absolutely see through interacting with her firsthand that she doesn't care about anybody else as long as she's getting what she wants," Majercak said.
