LIFE HACKS
THE RESOLUTION HACK
If your New Year’s resolutions already make you feel bad — good news — it’s not you.
Psychologists say goals like more money, more status, more validation can actually make us less happy… because they turn life into a comparison game you never win.
Instead, go for intrinsic goals — stuff that feels good no matter what: better health, stronger relationships, learning something new, helping people.
Also, ditch the “don’t” goals.
Don’t eat junk food just stresses your brain out.
Flip it to an approach goal — like eat more real food.
And one more thing: it’s okay to quit a goal that isn’t working.
That’s not failure — that’s emotional intelligence.
